You can find me in the club...

Unbeknownst to us, Rocío, Karla, and I, along with Topete and Jair, all dressed in black for the big night.  As we came downstairs one by one, we realized and meant to take a group picture, but somehow the Mexicans failed me this time!
While still at the house, we decided that the ones that were already ready should go ahead and get there so we could have our promised reserved table.
That plan fizzled as we all stood around waiting for instructions...

Finally we all left at the same time, grabbing four different taxis (since the bed of a truck was not appropriate for going out clothes.
We all got there and the getting in free was a bust.  But the good news is that in Mexico, it's always cheaper for the ladies.  We paid our 80 pesos and made our way in.  Misconception #2: After we realized we weren't getting in free, we justified it because it was open bar.  Ha.
We got there and it was packed.  Mostly because it's a tiny place.  Eventually we talked to Hector's son and he got us a (miniature) table and took the group drink order.  In Mexico (and maybe in other places, but not so much in Nashville), the typical club scene is to buy a bottle of liquor and the soft drink to go with it for the whole table.  So they bring a bunch of glasses, one bottle of liquor, and several soft drinks.  To each his own, right?  I can guarantee you that no matter which way they did it here, it would be cheaper than the US!
We had a good time around our small area.  This place did not play as much US pop as the places in Culiacán, so I didn't love it, but a good time was had by all.  We stayed there a few hours and then made our way out the door.
