KFC

Kentucky Fried Chicken is a relatively popular joint here in Mexico.  There's one in Culiacán.  There are about 15 Burger Kings, so it still rules, but KFC gets by.
While we were in the pool on Thursday, a car announcing beach activities passed by.  Since we were way up from the street, it was clouded, but we could hear it just fine!  The first thing it announced was a bikini contest.  Liliana, who never once was in a bathing suit without a cover up, yet used to be a clothes model in Culiacán, bought a really cute, really cheap bathing suit in Culiacán before we left.  In fact, she was so excited about it, she showed us all the day we decorated for Norma's wedding.  Renato just rolled his eyes.
As the car announced the bikini contest, everyone shouted, "Lili!  Lili!"  She rolled her eyes and laughed it off.
A few minutes later, another car passed and was announcing a best legs competition.
Are you ready for this?  In unison, as if planned, they start shouting, "Laura!  Laura!"
I was mortified of course.  I mean, I'll take it as a compliment, even though I don't believe it.
So then Iván says, "Kentucky Fried Chicken- best legs in town!"
I was losing it.
