The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.
I absolutely fell in love with the Manzanillo accent. They speak so slowly and in a sing song voice. Almost every phrase ends in a high pitch as if it were a question. Both Adrianas had such soft voices. I could've listened to them all day. I can't always place it, but I'm beginning to hear the differences in accents based on geography. Culiacán is fast and whiny. DF has its own sing-song rhythm and almost always ends with "güey" ("way"=dude). Manzanillo was so, well, beautiful. If I had arrived here in August, I think I would not have battled so the way I did in Culiacán. I probably wouldn't have improved as much or as quickly either.
