New Arrivals

Wednesday was arrival day for group two from Culiacán: Rocío, Iván, and Topete.  They did not reap the benefits of traveling with Adriana, so they did not have a chauffeur.  They arrived in Guadalajara at 11:15 am, but the earliest bus outta there was at 3 pm.  With a bus that made a stop in another town, their arrival to Manzanillo was planned for 8pm.  What a miserable day.  They, like we, thought they would arrive in Guadalajara and get to the beach within an hour or so.  Ha!
We got the phone call at 8 that they were almost there, so several people went to pick them up.  The rest of us hung out and kept the beer flowing.
The crowd got there and it was evident they were worn out!  They had stopped to get a bite on their way from the bus station.  Let the drinking begin!  The only outlet we had for music was a PSP (is that what it's called?), and it wasn't emitting much sound, so my laptop came to the rescue!  We played CDs on it as loud as it would go, which was not so loud.
A little later, Norma and Fernando (Lili's brother and wife of four days) arrived from Guanajuato.  They had plenty of stories of cockroaches and no air conditioning, etc.
We spent the night just catching up and sharing stories from the day.  As usual, I went to bed thinking, "I love my friends."  When I went to bed this night, I was in the king again, with Rocio and Nadia.  Adriana had gone to the hotel for the night.  Liliana was doubled up with her sister-in-law Norma in the single bed again.  What a trooper.
